On April 15 and May 4, 2023, discover the first guided theme hikes, organized on the Chemins de fer de Provence line by the Club Rando 06. Discover the shooting sites of the movie “Sur les Chemins noirs”.
For these atypical hikes, we propose you to wander along the Var and the Train des Pignes. This last one will be the theater of improvised readings extracted from the work of Sylvain Tesson “On the black roads” until reaching the most Tibetan of the villages of the middle-Var: Touët-sur-Var.
These peregrinations will allow us to immerse ourselves in very little frequented paths, in balcony on the valley, while taking advantage of the atypical lanes of Touët and the points of view on the “red” gorges of Cians.
Your guide will share with you, in addition to some readings, anecdotes about the shooting of the movie “Sur les chemins noirs” with Jean Dujardin which took place on these same natural settings.
A new randotrain which proposes a sportive crossing, ideal in spring or in autumn, to enjoy the varied colors of the crests of the Var middle country. We will start at the foot of the village of Touët-sur-Var which is also called “the Tibetan village” because of its high and narrow houses, nestled in the wall.
A progressive ascent framed by low walls, then by resinous trees will make us reach the highest point of the hike, with a view on the Cians.
Then, we’ll have the opportunity to walk along a steep ridge, with a magnificent balcony on the Var valley, from where we’ll be able to see the line of the Chemins de Fer de Provence that we’ll have to reach.
From abandoned hamlets to deserted chapels, don’t miss this wild crossing in the heart of the Middle Var where we will have the opportunity to escape a little from the tumult of our society! If we can’t all afford to spend a whole day hiking, or even to cross France, every corner of the IGN maps is a good way to get away from it all.
